Comment:

Hornet 188741, along with 188798, attacked an Iraqi OSA II patrol boat. They were piloted by Major David W. "DW" Kendall (741) and Captain Stephen P. "Hillbilly" Hill (798).
After strafing the craft several times, CF-188A 188741 launched an AIM-7M Sparrow which impacted 50 feet from the boat.
This TNC-45 was later finished off by USN Intruders. Both participating Hornets recieved ship kill markings for the role they played in the attack and the ship's subsequent destruction.
